Jennifer Dibie

Jennifer was a dynamic businesswoman and a devoted mother of five children. After the heartbreaking loss of her husband, Michael Mordi Dibie, and their youngest child, Clinton, she faced tremendous emotional and financial challenges. Despite this, she remained resilient, resourceful, and determined to keep her family together.

In the years following their passing, Jennifer battled multiple health complications that eventually led to her transition in 2012. Her strength, compassion, and unwavering dedication to her family continue to inspire the mission of the M.J.C. Dibie Foundation.

Clinton Dibie

Clinton was the youngest child of Michael and Jennifer Dibie. His life was tragically cut short at the age of two after falling sick with malaria.

His story mirrors the painful reality faced by millions of children across Africa—young lives lost to preventable and curable diseases. Clinton’s memory fuels the foundation’s commitment to improving access to basic healthcare and ensuring that no child is denied the chance to survive and thrive.

Michael Mordi Dibie

Michael Mordi Dibie was a dedicated Nigerian police officer who died in the line of duty in 2007. Beyond his service to his country, Michael had an insatiable passion for education and personal development.

Although he faced obstacles that prevented him from fully achieving his academic dreams, he remained deeply committed to supporting the educational aspirations of others. He encouraged and uplifted those around him, often going out of his way to help young people pursue learning and growth.

Michael’s legacy of integrity, service, and devotion to education stands at the heart of the foundation that bears his family’s name.

Through our work and partnerships, we are leading several social initiatives geared towards impacting lives and realizing the UN sustainable development goals in several underprivileged communities.
